offers you handpicked, whimsical vintage garments for women AND men, plus hats, shoes, bags and jewelry, from the Victorian and Edwardian periods up through the 1970s. Favorite eras are the 1920s, 1930s, 1940s and 1950s, for the glamour, the colorways, excellent tailoring, and innovations in fashion that occurred in those decades. Morning Glorious focuses on unique pieces that epitomize the era they hail from, and designer clothes that are very well made and timelessly stylish.

** Morning Glorious Vintage is a RETAIL VINTAGE CLOTHING SHOP and Web Business located at 18 Kimball Hill, in "the Black House" in Putney, Vermont (USA)!

MAY THROUGH DECEMBER- we have regular hours of: WED, THURS, FRI & SAT, 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM; or by chance, or by appointment.

IN THE WINTER (January-April), WE ARE OPEN MOST SATURDAYS, AND OTHER TIMES BY APPOINTMENT. Please call. 802-536-0127

On the first Saturday and the third Friday of the month*, Alice from Lyric Couture is in the shop between 11-2, doing alterations, repairs and garment re-fashionings! So bring your tired clothes that need a hem, or a re-visioning, Alice has reasonable rates and no appointment is needed. Call first, though, to be sure of her schedule. (*she will be here on the first Saturday only, between January and April, from 11-3)

The Morning Glorious store is loaded with fresh authentic vintage, and our stock changes weekly! Stop in and say Hello!

Also please also call ahead if traveling a distance - there are times that we need to close up shop, to attend antique textile fairs, auctions, for buying trips and so forth. Any fair dates, snow days and other unforeseen closings will be announced whenever possible on our shop answering machine, and on our facebook page.

WE ARE ALWAYS INTERESTED IN BUYING QUALITY MEN'S AND WOMEN'S VINTAGE CLOTHING, JEWELRY AND ACCESSORIES. We do not carry children's vintage. We rarely buy wedding dresses. We are not a consignment shop. IN PARTICULAR, WE ARE ACTIVELY LOOKING FOR PRE-1960's MENSWEAR, MEN'S ACCESSORIES, MEN'S DAY WEAR & EARLY WORK CLOTHES, etc. We selectively buy lady's day dresses and party dresses, separates, shoes, costume jewelry, etc. If you have things to sell, call for an appointment.
